About Us

If we don’t change, we won’t grow and if we don’t grow, then we won’t be able to live our life to the fullest. We are on a mission to ensure that everyone’s dreams become their reality.

Our Mission

We have a set of tools and standards to help differently-abled- people overcome their obstacles and to provide sustainability to them. We aim to make them the leaders of society. We also aim to prove that these people are equal to us and should not be oppressed. ‘Dream Of Us’ is a public trust for the benefit of all people irrespective of their caste, creed or gender.

Our Vision

We aspire to create a better environment for homeless children, children with disabilities, orphans, people suffering from contagious diseases, old people and people who are left alone by their family and relatives. We hope to conduct moral classes for the youth and adults to equip them to help victims of natural calamities, man-made disasters, communal riots or other civil disturbances.

Our Story

We started our journey on the 8th of March, 2017. In the beginning, we liberated several trees from the tree guards that surrounded them. This was carried out on the 4th of June, 2017 in association with the Natural Organization Green Community. After a lot of brainstorming and discussion, we introduced some changes to the society. The introduction of our ‘Swapnachitra’ event changed the perception of people towards the differently-abled community. From 6th to 10th of June, 2017, we showcased 60 paintings by 21 talented artists at the Lalitha Kala Academy, Kozhikode. We are proud to say that we sold 80% of the paintings that were displayed. Now, we have arrived at the third edition of ‘Swapnachitra’, which has changed the perception of people towards the differently-abled community.

Who are we ?

Dream of us believes in giving equal opportunity to all individuals without differentiating on grounds of their gender or their physical traits, we believe every person around us is unique and should be given the opportunities to accomplish what they are capable of, we unite the people (volunteers) who are willing to give their time and energy towards improving the quality and ensuring that opportunities are made available to all differently abled. Dreams of us’ is an NGO in the form of a Trust, to help differently abled people around. A humble attempt to provide a platform for all Unprivileged . We Believe if we do something for the benefit of others, it will be our souls which would get filled with Joy, along with that of the beneficiaries. More than considering such activities as an act of kindness or charity, it is better to count. And that is why the slogan of this NGO reads, “Life is better when we are smiling”
